Are You Preaching or Teaching – How to lead

When the B-Team Hits the Multiverse (Zen G’s Lesson on Being a Beacon of Light)

In the Multiverse, there are many versions of you. Some are wiser. Some are stronger. Some… well, some are like our B-Team. Meet Art G, Marla, and Seth — three alternate Inner Strength “heroes” who recently stumbled into our universe through what I can only assume was a plot hole. Now, don’t get me wrong — they’re very enthusiastic. But let’s just say they don’t exactly… embody the Inner Strength principles. They’re entertaining, sure. But they are also the perfect example of what not to do when trying to inspire others.

The Wrong Way to Lead

The B-Team has a very particular leadership style:

  • Art G stands on a table loudly telling everyone how enlightened he is… while not practicing a single thing he says.
  • Marla lectures the Library on discipline… all while leaning back in her chair, smoking a tab, and sipping whiskey like she’s running her own alternate universe seminar.
  • Seth… well, Seth is still trying to work out which universe he’s in, but that hasn’t stopped him from giving motivational speeches about “staying focused.”

How to lead the right way (Be a Beacon of Light)

Real leadership doesn’t come from shouting your wisdom louder than everyone else. It comes from living your truth so fully that your presence lights the way for others. bWhen you preach what you don’t practice, it doesn’t inspire — it erodes trust. When you embody what you believe, you don’t have to push people toward it… they’re naturally drawn to it. This is how to lead.

A beacon doesn’t chase ships down. It stands firm, shines bright, and lets its light guide the way.

Your Reflection Exercise

Today, take a moment to ask yourself:
👉 Am I operating as the Main Universe version of me, living my truth and leading by example?
👉 Or am I slipping into my B-Team variant, preaching more than I’m practicing?

Lead with alignment. Live your values. Be the beacon.
